why not write with heart?

I've arrived in London, after a week in mallorca and a day in Barcelona. I had a great time in Barcelona - went to the Joan Miró foundation in the twighlight - it had a beautiful view of the ciy and some delightful works. Also went to the Taipes foundation, which I really liked, and the Centre of Contemporary Art, which had some goodies.

I still haven't got to the bottom of what it is I like in a lot of these pieces, but I'm not too worried about that.

Ate like I couldn't believe. Incredible food, simple, quality, creative. I will rave about it forever, at least until I go back.

Yesterday, and the day before, I felt weird. A vague frustration, couldn't place it. I think it was restlessness. I've been on my phone a lot, distracted. Trying to do everything at once, not actually doing anything.

I'm reminded of the book I read about deep work. It mentioned the emotional, psychological benefits of periods of focus. Will try to put this into play.

html day 2025

I went to HTML day in London, it was great. I shared my old erase bookmarklet to a warm reception.

I did a workshop about html portals. Not sure if I really captured the vision, but nonetheless was happy with what I made - collection. Finally, a place to put all the photos I take of works in galleries. Now I must start actually cataloging them. More grist for the mill.

Derek Jarman

I've started reading Modern Nature, Derek Jarman's garden diaries. It's a lovely read, and encouraged me to get back into writing this journal. There are many short entries, in fact, most of them are short. They are also very expressive. It's an inspiration, why not write with heart?

Wish I could read faster, not sure I'll finish it before I leave.

All receieved information should make us inverts sad. But before I finish I intend to celebrate our corner of Paradise, the part of the garden the Lord forgot to mention.

I'm also going to try to do the day trip out to the cottage - wish me luck!

Visited those two today

I stopped writing this entry a few weeks ago and didn't pick it up again. Leaving like this for posterity.

In other news, I will be finishing this journal soon. I will start to write a different one, in time. I will post two more entries after this one.
