Friday was pretty good. I ticked a few things off the todo list - all involved spending money, but I did it economically.

sunday

It's sunday now, and I've picked the journal back up. I've had trouble relaxing today, just kind of flitted around my room. Thinking about getting a bean bag. Also thinking about getting a drum throne.

I got lost looking at drum kit options online today. It's dangerous, the kind of holes I can fall down with online shopping. I don't even spend money, it's just the time and energy.

I'm not used to this degree of minimalism in my life, sometimes it's uncomfortable. I feel driven to buy my way out, and I start going down strange little paths trying to shave pennies of these hypothetical purchases. I freak out, remembering how awful it was to get rid of things before I left Melbourne.

I caught myself up on a favourite webcomic - Kill Six Billion Demons
I read a short story by William Gibson - Johnny Mnenomic

I did another row on the crochet bag I'm making. I sent some friends photos I took. I felt weird and restless all day - I really need to start exercising again.

routine

I didn't do very well at sticking to the routine last week - too many late nights, slept in a lot. I'm going to see how I go this week. I also want to start doing a daily review of what I did and what I want to do. I'm doing quite a lot, but it's easy to forget or lose track.

cnj

I built the command line conjugation tool I'd been wanting for a while! It's not ready to distribute publically, but it's perfect for local use.

It was a day to make basic, and another day to make it look good. conjugation tool showing the conjugations for "escrever", filtered for present tense with grep conjugation tool showing the conjugation for "falar", filtered for infinitive with fzf

what else

I walked around on saturday for a little while looking for a spot to enjoy the sun, ended up just walking home. All the parks nearby have construction going on. My balcony is perfect for the sun in the afternoon.

Still very distracted, will wrap this one up.
