I've tried to articulate this in the past but I don't think I really achieved it. Today on my bike I think I got a little closer.

I took a lot of time off work a couple of years ago. I felt really stressed, and struggled to be organised or use my time "wisely". I had no job, no kids, no responsibilities tugging on my time. I learnt that it was not entirely external pressures that made me feel rushed and made me disorganised.

Since coming back to full time work I've added a few more commitments to my life, and I don't think I've suffered much for it.
