• April 10 - Bus to buenos aires in the evening. Spent the day hanging out with V
• April 11 - Arrived early in Buenos Aires, met up with CC and we headed to El Tigre
• April 12 - Lovely day in El Tigre
• April 13 - Packed up early and caught the boat back into Buenos Aires, said goodbye to CC and boarded a flight to Cordoba
• April 14 - Rest day in cordoba, wrote a nice email, went to a nearby bar and drank a 10% beer. It was nice but made me drunk the rest of the evening. Had a good pizza for dinner, the restaurant was playing Bad Bunny's Verano Sin Ti album.
• April 15 - Saw some museums, walked around Nuevo Cordoba and the park. Really enjoyed the Palacio Ferreyra / Museo Superior de Bellas Artes.

present day

I woke up early and got swept away to Ilha Grande, a tropical Island paradise. I was pretty dazed on my way, always slightly worried I'd fucked something up and was about to get lost. I did realise I hadn't screencapped or saved a map and had no idea how to get to my hostel once I arrived. Eventually I did arrive and just went to a random hostel and used their internet. All things are possible.

I've shelled out the big bucks ($53 a night) and rented a private room - looks like I'm the only one at the hostel so maybe it was wasted money? I continue to learn. Card didn't go through on first attempt at paying so we may yet be in the clear.

I spent the morning after arriving milling about the left hand side of the town, sitting on beaches, reading, thinking, looking at things. Finally, the perfect vacation.

I finished one of the books I bought at El Ateneo Grand Splendid. It was a good read, contemporary and challenging. Challenging mostly because of the vocabulary, but also the writing style in general. It was good to stretch my spanish comprehension to it's limit.
