at least not this month

It's been a day of lazing about and a day of long awaited success.
I was up late last night hanging with the friends of the "paths towards form" meetup. We went over a few different pieces. I presented the small project wringer. I was pretty happy with it, but I think it needs a few revisions. Alongside "the wringer", I want some other limits placed on ideas like deadlines, time tracking, idk something else. Your Game Idea is Too Big was cool with it's calculator functionality, something like that for estimated effort could be good.
The other thing I presented was a quickly sketched story board for a small animation I want to do. It was embarrassing, I wasn't nearly prepared enough. Such is life, sometimes you gotta learn. It needs actual character designs, and more importantly I think it needs human interest. The characters ought to feel more real.
In the morning I woke up late, then jumped on a train for half an hour up north to Broadmeadows. I haven't been that far out of town before, I really enjoyed the trip. I couldn't get an appointment in town to get my Vic license, at least not this month, so I got one out in Broadmeadows. The library out there had around 7 different languages by the returns slot, the transport center was kitted out like an airport/health clinic cross with ticket numbers and screens everywhere.
I managed to fill the rest of the day chatting and hanging out - not the worst way to be honest. Talked to Mum, Dad, Jude, Johnny, and Giles. Got the whole gang on the phone, what a success.
