I've struggled to get back to a "productive" routine since my interview on thursday. Regardless things have been good. Me and T did an escape room, it was pretty fun. We finished it with only a few hints to help. The story was weak, but the thrill was still fun. Afterwards we had a couple of beers and chatted about the game, then we chatted about the growing complexity in our lives and about some science fictions ideas.

I told him about a concept I had for a science fiction short, where information technology evolves through tactility instead of visual communication. Instead of a rectangular 2D screen with changing images, a fruit like object. Like feeling fruit in the supermarket to know how close to ripeness it is, you feel the device and you know how your friends are. You feel the weather forcast, you feel the mood of the day. Children cultivate increased spatial reasoning abilities through the constant practice. They all have surgeon like dexterity, and more information is communicated in non verbal ways, leading to abstractions beyond or other than words.
